the vba can scan all the drawings content via batch process or vba itself and then copy what it found to excel. What your really wanting then is really only available via VBA and excel. I have never figured out how to export the text report without over writing the exported report for batches, one at a time it lets you name the output file at the prompt. Microstation by itself does have a native option to search the active dgn for tags and create a tag report but it only exports to txt or csv and only one active file at a time If you want to edit a tag manually just double click on te said tag and a tag editor pops up, from there you can edit the active tag entry or choose another and also the option to make visible or not, its a very slow feed back so I only edit one at a time then click the apply or ok button and move to next tag.
